Completely replacing an aging drying system is often unnecessary. There are three ways to modernize with the Drywell system: aging central dry air generators are replaced, existing drying hoppers are modernized, or the drying is adapted to changing production needs.
Working drying hoppers remain in use in most cases; they are simply connected to modern dry air generators. This means preserving most of the investment.
Old central dry air generators take up a lot of space. After the renewal this space is no longer needed; the freed-up area can be allocated to other production equipment in the plant.
With modernization, energy savings of up to 100 kWh per ton of granulate are possible. The system supports energy management systems such as DIN EN ISO 50001; visualization of the drying parameters is provided by modern interfaces, in other words the savings become measurable.
The modular concept creates flexibility in production: capacity is added or removed according to need. Details are on the central drying system page.
