Netherlands-based Ferlin Plastics Automation builds material conveying, dosing and drying systems for the plastics processing industry. The product range is grouped under three main brands: GRAVIMIX gravimetric dosing, MOVAC central conveying and EasyDry / HotDry dryers.

Systems that control the ratio of color, masterbatch, additives and regrind by weighing. Seven series, starting with NECS (50 kg/h) and ending with FGB25 (3,210 kg/h), range from small machine-mounted units to central blending systems. The difference from volumetric dosing is that the ratio stays constant even when the granule density changes.
Vacuum material conveying systems: central vacuum sources and filter units, hopper loaders connected to the central vacuum, and the standalone Easy series. It scales from a single machine to a multi-machine plant.

What sets Ferlin apart is that it offers three links of a production line that affect each other under one roof: the material is conveyed, dried and dosed. These three steps are interconnected — dried material picks up moisture in an open line, and if the dosing ratio drifts, the drying loses its point.
The EasyClean design philosophy is also common across the range: units can be dismantled without tools, and cleaning time during color and material changes is shortened.
