Product Description and Technical Details

MOD/WOD wedge clamp cylinders are self-locking double-acting hydraulic clamps used on thousands of injection molding, blow molding and die casting machines, mold carriers and stamping presses.

Thanks to the 5° angle at the piston tip, MOD wedge clamp cylinders stay locked even without continuous pressure and offer a self-locking design.

The MOD system mounts on flat backplates and can be equipped with 2 inductive sensors to show the locked/open positions.
