Termojel Heating-Cooling Units

The dual-circuit Termojel is a temperature control unit that combines a chiller and a heater in one cabinet and provides two independent process circuits. A shared refrigeration circuit is complemented by two separate process pumps and two separate heaters; each circuit can be set to its own temperature within the 5–120 °C range.

When to choose dual circuit?

• When the fixed and moving mold halves need different temperatures (to balance warpage, for gloss on visible surfaces)
• When one unit has to supply two separate molds or two separate machines
• When different areas, such as the mold and the hot runner surroundings, need to be controlled separately

Model selection within the series

The series has six models with cooling capacities of 15.91–67.14 kW; heater power is 6–12 kW per circuit. In the catalog each model is listed with two codes (S and F) whose technical values are identical. Selection considers the total cooling load together with the heating demand of each circuit.
