EH Series

The EH series is a hybrid series that combines servo all-electric drive and hydraulics in the same machine. From the drop-down list on this page you can reach all the models between 130 and 450 Tons.

What sets the series apart

The EH handles the movements that need precision with electric drive and those that need high force with hydraulics. This design provides a positioning accuracy in the order of ±0.01 mm without reaching the investment cost of an all-electric machine. The injection speed is in the 500 mm/s band (on the 450 EH model it is 300 mm/s).

Who is it suitable for

Precision technical parts, electronic components, optics and non-medical production requiring precision. It is designed for plants looking for a balance between all-electric and servo hydraulic.

Choosing a model in this series

The point to watch with the EH is that the injection speed changes with the tonnage: while the lower models work in the 500 mm/s band, on the 450 EH this value drops to 300 mm/s. At the all-electric end the FE series, and if there is a clean room requirement the MX series, should be considered. In the same tonnage band, the SV is more economical for general purpose production.

Line planning

In precision part production the machine alone is not enough. Raw material moisture makes the shot weight fluctuate, a deviation in the dosing ratio changes the part properties, and a drift in the mold temperature spoils the dimensional tolerance. To get the return on the precision the EH series offers, the material drying systems, dosing and mold temperature control side must be equally stable.
