Tonnage ranges overlap; what decides is the application itself. A 400-ton requirement leads to DFS for thin-wall packaging, to MX for medical parts and to SV for general production.
The machines use servo-motor-controlled pump systems, and the all-electric series uses direct servo drive. The difference of a servo system is that it generates hydraulic flow only when it is needed; in fixed-speed pumps the excess flow turns into heat through the relief and energy is spent twice.
