All-electric plastic injection molding machines. Direct servo motor drive, over 95% energy efficiency, 0.01 mm accuracy, no hydraulic oil.
7 models90 Ton all-electric injection molding machine. 900 kN clamping. Servo drive.
The DKM FE Series are new generation all-electric plastic injection molding machines. All movements are driven directly by servo motors and no hydraulic oil is used.

Medical: Blood collection tubes, Luer syringes, medical connectors, micro precision parts

Automotive: Optical lenses, headlamp/tail lamp parts, precise electronic connectors
Electronics: Micro connectors, sensor housings, portable device parts Packaging: Thin-wall packaging, caps/closures, clean production in contact with food
7 main models (between 90 and 460 tons), with 2–4 different injection unit options at each tonnage, for a total of 25 configurations. Small volume/high pressure or large volume options are offered according to your requirement.

An all-electric structure provides the highest energy efficiency and precision, but in return the investment cost is higher. For hybrid and servo hydraulic alternatives see the comparison on the injection molding machine range page.
On all-electric machines all movements are made by servo motors; there is no hydraulic circuit. This has three direct consequences: the risk of leakage disappears, oil changes and filter maintenance are not needed, and the area around the machine stays clean. In medical, optical and food-contact production the last of these can be decisive on its own.
Servo motors draw power only during movement; consumption at standstill is almost zero. In hydraulic systems, on the other hand, the pump runs throughout the cycle. Positional accuracy is also noticeably higher with electric drive — on small parts requiring repeatability that difference is reflected in the scrap rate.
All-electric machines require a higher investment than servo hydraulic ones. The decision is made by looking at the operating hours: in a plant working one shift the energy difference struggles to close the investment; in a plant working three shifts the period gets noticeably shorter. You can make the calculation with the energy and cost tools.
On work requiring very high tonnage and a very large shot volume an all-electric structure is not economical; the FE series is positioned in the 90–460 ton band. For requirements above that, the other series should be looked at.
