DH Series

The DH series is a hydraulic series that shortens the cycle time with electric pre-plasticizing. From the drop-down list on this page you can reach all the models between 90 and 3,350 Tons.

What sets the series apart

What sets the DH apart is that the plasticizing is electric. The screw prepares the next shot simultaneously with the cooling phase, and this operation runs independently of the hydraulic circuit. The result is that plasticizing is not added to the cycle time and the energy consumption falls.

Who is it suitable for

Thanks to its wide tonnage band it can be used from small technical parts to high-volume production. It is a balanced solution for plants that care about cycle time but do not want to go up to the investment cost of an all-electric machine.

Choosing a model in this series

The band stretching from 90 to 3,350 tons makes the DH a range that can meet a plant's different needs with a single series. The gain from electric pre-plasticizing becomes clearer as the cycle time gets shorter; on long-cycle work the difference narrows. Line planning

Shortening the cycle time starts with the machine but does not end there. Cooling is the longest part of the cycle, and what determines it is the mold temperature; if the temperature control unit is inadequate, the speed advantage of the machine does not show.
