VARIO, central 4.0 in hot runner control — the solution of the future. Despite its small size, its screen that tilts up and down makes it an extremely user-friendly and efficient hot runner control unit.

Thanks to the master-slave function, two benchtop units can be combined to control up to 32 zones from a single touch panel. Additional devices, including needle valve control and the pressure measurement system, can be connected through the standard Ethernet connection.

Microprocessor-controlled, VARIO meets the highest requirements for the process reliability of your plastics production while staying as small and practical as possible. Connecting all the hot runner controllers to a central mold server via OPC/UA is a future-oriented step.

VARIO as a single unit

This page covers the single unit version of the VARIO family. The tilting screen allows the unit to be positioned at different heights on a desk or on a shelf; the operator adjusts the screen to their own viewing angle.

If your zone requirement is above 4 and you are planning modular growth, you should look at the VARIO 4-32 series; that design expands in steps of 4 up to 32 zones and can go higher still with a master-slave connection. All the options are on the TP and VARIO series page.
