VARIO, central 4.0 in hot runner control — the solution of the future. Despite its small size, its screen that tilts up and down makes it an extremely user-friendly and efficient hot runner control unit.
Thanks to the master-slave function, two benchtop units can be combined to control up to 32 zones from a single touch panel. Additional devices, including needle valve control and the pressure measurement system, can be connected through the standard Ethernet connection.
VARIO 4-32 is a modular design that can increase the number of zones in steps of 4. As your mold portfolio grows you can expand the unit instead of replacing it; with a master-slave connection it can go above 32 zones as well.
The standout functions in the series: Reduction / Boost control via an external 24 V DC, leakage current monitoring, load shedding on triac failure, a calibration accuracy of ≤ 0.25% and a capacity of 3,680 W per zone at 230 V / 16 A. On the communication side, USB, Ethernet and OPC/UA are supported.
