Central Hopper Loaders

What working connected to a central vacuum means

These loaders have no motor of their own; they take their drawing power from the central vacuum source. Having no separate motor at each machine brings three things: less noise around the machine, fewer maintenance points and fewer electrical connections. In return, a central system infrastructure is required.

Choosing a model

What is decisive is the hourly consumption of the machine and the hopper volume. If the hopper is chosen too small, the loader runs constantly and puts an unnecessary load on the vacuum source. If it is chosen too large, dried material waits a long time inside the hopper and can pick up moisture — with hygroscopic raw material this makes the drying pointless.

The connection diameter is 40 mm as standard; the line design is based on this value.

Simultaneity

How many loaders will run at the same time on a central system determines the sizing of the vacuum source. Taking the total capacity of all the loaders means an unnecessarily large pump.
