Termojel Heating-Cooling Units

The single-circuit Termojel is a process temperature control unit that combines a chiller and an electric heater in one cabinet. The refrigeration circuit with a scroll compressor cools the chiller water in its own tank, which allows the process pump to send water to the mold at the required temperature. When heating is needed, the electric heater engages. The control range is 5–120 °C.

Model selection within the series

The series has seven models from 9.59 kW to 129.06 kW. Two values decide the selection:

• Cooling capacity: must be greater than the heat that has to be removed from the mold per hour (mold cooling calculator).
• Heater power (6–36 kW): determines how long the mold and the water in the circuit take to reach operating temperature.

The process water connection and the pump flow rate must suit the channel layout of the mold; on the larger models the connection goes up to 3".
