Enclosed conveyor that fits under the clamping unit — the part drops straight onto the belt and is carried to the side.
This is the conveyor positioned directly below the point where the part drops out of the mold. Its entry fits inside the clamping unit opening; the part drops onto the belt and is carried to the side of the machine. It is the type used most often on injection molding lines.
Its distinguishing feature is the enclosed body: the top of the belt is covered with a sheet metal cover, and only the opening where the part drops in and the discharge end are open. This cover both stops a falling part from bouncing out and protects the belt from the oil and dirt under the machine.

If the part is picked by a robot and placed on the belt, there is no need for an enclosed body; in that case a flat belt conveyor is more suitable.
The body is made of stainless or galvanized sheet metal. The frame is aluminum sigma profile; adjustable feet compensate for floor slope and for height differences relative to the machine. Drive is provided by a geared motor, with a protective cover over the motor.
The control box contains start–stop buttons, a mushroom-head emergency stop and a main switch. Moving areas are closed off with guard plates, and the warning labels are in Turkish.
With this type the deciding dimension is the clearance under the clamping unit — the overall height of the conveyor has to fit into this clearance. We also ask which side the belt will exit on, the discharge height (box or container), and whether the part comes out hot. For a hot part the belt length is planned to allow time for cooling.
If the sprue is to be collected separately, a second line can be set up; the separated sprue is directed straight to the granulator.
