C-50 and C-100 are the small-volume models of the Digicolor container program. All parts and surfaces in contact with the granulate are stainless.
These two sizes are used especially for masterbatch, additives and materials consumed in small quantities. Their footprints are small: C-50 approximately 390 × 410 mm, C-100 approximately 490 × 505 mm. With these dimensions they fit into almost any machine layout, even into tight spaces.
Connecting to the line
At the granulate outlet there is a 40 mm suction port. With this port the container is connected to a conveying line or to a single conveying unit; the dosing hopper or material separator is fed automatically. If the application requires it, the port can be reduced to 30 mm; on the C-100 it can also be increased to 50 mm.
Mobile use
Both sizes can be supplied on casters. So the container is not tied to a fixed point and is moved to wherever it is needed in the plant. The stainless filling grid makes it easier to place a sack or bag on top of the bin and empty it. The lid is hinged.
Where is it used?
The C-50 is ideal for feeding masterbatch and as a day bin; it is used as the masterbatch source for volumetric and gravimetric dosing units. The C-100 is a day bin for low-consumption materials and, thanks to its stainless construction, is suitable for medical applications.
