EAS UniTrans is a wheeled mold transport platform able to move in every direction (omnidirectional), developed to move molds and heavy loads safely inside and outside the factory. In the standard configuration it is delivered with a rubber top plate; it ensures safe transport of molds and press tools.
Maneuverability: straight, diagonal and sideways movement, rotation about its own axis (0 m turning radius), cornering and special movement combinations — all controlled by an industrial remote control. The positioning accuracy is ±2 mm.
Lifting and power: Scissor / direct-acting lifting platform, 150 mm lifting stroke. Uninterrupted operation for up to 12 hours with an automotive-grade lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery; full charge in about 8 hours (fast charging optional). With twin DC servo drive units, pendulum suspension and compatibility with concrete/steel floors, it offers 5% full-load climbing capability.
Suited to harsh conditions: It is designed for indoor and outdoor use in conditions such as rain, snow and low temperatures (IP54, -15 ~ +45°C); it offers high obstacle-crossing ability. The UniTrans family can be scaled to a load capacity of up to 500 tons in a single unit; a customizable high-speed version offering speeds of up to 1.5 m/s is also available.
Safety options: front/rear safety scanners (set of 2 or 4) and safety bumpers (set of 2 or 4). In the event of a fault, recovery is possible by manual lowering and external towing.
The standard series consists of 5 models in the 2 – 30 ton range; details are in the technical table below. Higher capacities (up to 500 tons) are offered on a project basis.
