Mold Transport and Storage Solutions
A mold is at risk during the time it spends outside production too: impact during crane handling, corrosion while standing on the floor, and lost search time in disorganized storage. EAS transport and storage solutions make the mold independent of the crane.

Why a transporter instead of a crane?
Handling a mold with a crane means suspension from a single point, swinging and a risk of collision. What is more, the crane is usually the only one in the plant and is shared — a mold change has to wait for the crane to become free.
Mold transporters carry the mold at floor level and supported; they work independently of crane traffic. Drawer-type storage racks, in turn, let the mold be slid out instead of being pulled from inside the rack with a crane.
Selection criteria
1. Your heaviest mold — the capacity is chosen accordingly 2. Distance and floor — if the store is far from the machine a battery-driven solution is needed 3. Number of molds — storage rack capacity and layout plan 4. Mold change frequency — with frequent changes the transporter investment pays back quickly

A transporter instead of a crane: why
The classic method of moving a mold is the crane. But a crane leaves the suspended load free: the load swings, positioning is not precise and the operator may have to work under the load. Mold transporters move the load at floor level and under control.

How storage relates to maintenance
A mold store is not only a space problem. Molds placed at random on the floor or on pallets are left open to corrosion, their parting faces are damaged and finding the mold you are looking for takes time. When choosing
What is decisive is the weight of the heaviest mold, the distances inside the plant and the condition of the floor. Where distances are long and handling frequent, a battery-driven solution noticeably reduces the labor.
