Grate bar magnets are the most widely used type of magnet in the bulk material and plastics industries. In construction they vary from round to square; their sizes range from 100 mm to 800 mm.
These magnets are usually placed inside hoppers and containers; the ferritic particles stick to the magnet and have to be cleaned off manually during cleaning. To make this process easier, Easy-Clean grate bar magnets that can be pulled apart to interrupt the magnetic field have been developed. With this type the particles drop off by themselves from the non-magnetic outer shell. Standard grate bar magnets without this feature have to be cleaned manually.
Execution types: GEC1, GEC2, Square (eckig), Round (rund). The square type is available in the 100×100 – 796×796 mm range and the round type in the Ø 150 – Ø 400 mm range.
