JETmini — backed by Teknik Part's assurance and technical support.

JETmini — small, universal, intuitive. A stackable micro controller for 1 to 2 zones. Microprocessor-controlled hot runner control unit with a graphic display.
JETmini is a compact control unit designed for hot runner and general heating applications with 1 or 2 zones. Although it is no bigger than a shoebox, it delivers the same process monitoring quality as large control cabinets.

When the zone count grows, a modular solution becomes necessary: the VARIO series for 4 – 32 zones, and JETmaster TP for large systems above 24 zones.
The system as a whole: hot runner control units
JETmini is a benchtop unit designed for a 1 – 2 zone hot runner control need. On small molds with a single nozzle or two zones, a multi-zone cabinet is an investment that is both unnecessary and space-consuming.
A 230 V / 10 A supply, a 2 inch display and a housing measuring 170 × 70 × 210 mm. Its stackable design allows several units to be arranged neatly side by side or one above the other — so a few small molds can be managed from the same working area.
It works with Pt100, type J (up to 500 °C) and type K (up to 700 °C) sensors. The unit must match the sensor type in the mold; a mismatch causes the temperature to be read incorrectly and makes the control act in the wrong direction.
As the zone count rises, using separate JETmini units makes management harder. From four zones onward the TP and VARIO series, and above 24 zones the JETmaster TP cabinets become more suitable.
Zones are counted from the mold maker's connection diagram: every nozzle, each manifold section and any tip heaters count as one zone each. For general information see the hot runner control systems page.
