Mold Connection Cables
The connection between the hot runner control unit and the mold is made by the cable. It carries the heater power and brings the thermocouple signal back. Because it moves constantly in the production environment and is exposed to oil and heat, cable quality has a direct effect on downtime.

The cables are resistant to oil and chemicals and can be used in dry or damp environments.
Over 200 connection standards
Every manufacturer's mold socket is different. FIEGE covers more than 200 different connection standards; cables can be supplied pre-assembled (with the connectors fitted) or by the meter. Special lengths and configurations are produced to customer requirement.
Multi-coupling solutions
Stäubli multi-coupling cables (2-way and 4-way) allow several circuits to be connected in a single movement — shortening the mold change time. Adapter boxes make sockets of different standards compatible with one another.
