Two-platen structure, 600-4000 tons clamping force, original Italian technology. High precision and efficiency.
8 models600 Ton Two-Platen TP Plastic Injection Molding Machine
With original Italian technology, DKM is among the top 3 brands in the world in the field of high precision two-platen injection molding machines. The DKM-TP series is a latest generation solution that redefines precision, efficiency and reliability in plastics production.
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Clamping Force | 6,000-40,000 kN (600-4000 tons) |
| Structure | Two-Platen |
| Drive | Hydraulic Servo System |
| Application | Automotive, Packaging, Electronics, White Goods |

Unlike conventional machines, the two-platen design makes the distribution of the clamping force superior; it provides precision and stability. The rigid and balanced structure minimizes warpage and distortion and produces high quality parts.

Designed for optimum performance and efficiency, the clamping unit offers a precise and strong closing force. The advanced control system allows the parameters to be adjusted easily.

A user-friendly interface, real-time parameter adjustment, data recording and analysis for process optimization.
A safe working environment with comprehensive safety guards, emergency stop buttons and automatic fault detection systems.
DKM makes a difference in the sector not only with its superior machines but also with the comprehensive service and technical support it offers its customers. With installation, training, maintenance and spare part support, we maximize the value of your investment.
If your mold stays below 600 tons, you may not need a two-platen structure. Looking at the complete range of injection molding machine series and moving down to a more suitable tonnage lowers the investment noticeably.
In toggle systems the clamping mechanism takes up considerable space at the back of the machine. In a two-platen structure that section does not exist; for the same mold size a shorter machine length and a wider opening stroke are obtained.
On large and deep molds this is decisive. The opening stroke required for the part to come out of the mold would demand a much larger body on a toggle machine — and that means both investment and floor space.
Above 600 tons the selection does not end with the clamping force. What has to be checked:
At high tonnage a parallelism deviation between the mold faces appears as flash on one edge of the parting line and a short shot on the other. The hydraulic locking system is designed to maintain this parallelism.
A two-platen structure may not be necessary; the other series are both faster and more economical.
