DKM has 20 years of experience in PET injection molding machines. Since its foundation DKM's PET injection molding machines have been developed and renewed up to the 3rd generation (PET III).

Injection System — Dedicated L/D Screw Design

DKM PET injection molding machines use dedicated L/D screws with a long L/D ratio and high plasticizing efficiency. In this way PET materials are melted and plasticized evenly and efficiently, and part quality and molding efficiency increase.

Single screw and twin screw options are available. DKM's dedicated twin screw design and melting technology, together with a high efficiency plasticizing system and first-in-first-out technology, effectively lowers the AA value of the preforms — it brings a solution to the AA value problems in the sector and makes high quality, high productivity PET preform production possible.

Precise Temperature Control System

PET material has a very high sensitivity to temperature. The DKM PET dedicated injection molding machine uses four or more stage PID temperature control on the feed barrel and provides precise temperature in critical zones such as the barrel, the nozzle and the mold. High precision temperature control guarantees the homogeneity and flowability of the plastic melt; the quality of the molded part increases noticeably.

Cooling System

DKM improves the cooling system with efficient cooling circuits and fans. The mold and the injection molding machine are cooled rapidly in a short time, productivity increases and distortion and shrinkage of the part are prevented.

Clamping System — Strong and Stable

The clamping structure of the DKM PET injection molding machine has been upgraded:

• Strong clamping force and stable machine performance
• The mold stays tightly closed during the injection process → precision and quality are guaranteed
• With an extended body, a wide area for four tie bars and a larger mold capacity, the molding process runs more smoothly
