Pressmag LP Magnetic Clamping — backed by Teknik Part's assurance and technical support.

EAS Pressmag LP is an electro-permanent magnetic clamping system designed for large capacity injection molding machines. Its long oval pole shape provides a high clamping force and easy pole replacement.
Pressmag LP is a magnetic mold clamping system with a long oval pole design. The poles are of plug-in construction; when one pole is damaged, only that pole is replaced rather than the whole plate.

It is designed for large capacity injection molding machines. Thanks to the metal-to-metal clamping surface the applied force is measured at its true value — you do not work from an estimate.
The replaceable pole design lowers the maintenance cost over the long term: under heavy use individual poles can be renewed.

The distinguishing feature of the LP series is its long oval replaceable pole construction. When a pole is damaged the whole plate does not have to be replaced; a single pole is removed and renewed. The greatest risk in a magnetic plate investment is that damage to the surface renders the entire plate unusable — the LP removes that risk.
The thick plate construction raises the mechanical strength. Thanks to the metal-to-metal contact surface the clamping force can be measured exactly; as no insulating layer comes in between, the measurement reflects the true value.
The 8 inch touch control unit displays the clamping status and force. In a power failure the force is retained — a natural consequence of the electro-permanent design; energy is used only at the moment of clamping and releasing.
Plants working with heavy molds, where the plate surface is under strain, and which care about long-term maintenance cost. If water and moisture dominate, FP is more suitable; if there are hot molds up to 150 °C, SP is.
