ELY Rocker Clamp
The ELY rocker clamp is a compact clamping solution designed for molds with narrow clamping edges and for machines where space is limited. It can be operated manually or fully automatically.

Key points
Separate clamping circuits keep the remaining clamps engaged when a leak occurs in one circuit — a single hydraulic fault does not release the whole clamping. The double check valve, in turn, prevents the clamp from opening when the pressure is cut.
Its resistance to a 200 °C ambient temperature allows use on hot presses and in die casting applications.
Thanks to its compact one-piece construction it is preferred on narrow clamping edges and in retrofit applications.

200 °C: the reason the series exists
The distinguishing feature of the ELY rocker clamps is that they can work at a 200 °C ambient temperature. In applications producing with hot molds, the gaskets and sealing elements of standard hydraulic clamps are put under strain and their life is shortened. The ELY is designed for these conditions.
Safety architecture
- Double check valve — prevents the clamp from opening when the hydraulic pressure is cut
- Separate clamping circuits — a fault in a single line does not release the whole connection
- Safety interface to the press — the machine knows the clamp status, and the cycle does not start until the mold is fully clamped
Together these three close the safety gaps most often questioned in hydraulic clamping.
One-piece body and DIN 650
The one-piece body increases the mechanical strength and simplifies the mounting. Because it seats in the standard DIN 650 T-slot, adapting it to existing machines is easy — no special plate machining is required.
The usage decision
If the number of molds is limited, the backplates are standard and the ambient temperature is high, the ELY is the right choice. If the variety of molds is wide, magnetic plate systems, which need no mold-specific preparation, offer a more flexible solution.
The color touch control unit shows the clamping status to the operator.
